2025 CUBS WINTER BALL
January 7th - February 27th
Days & Times
Cubs Winter ball is open to any players born in 2007,2008,2009 (18U Midget) or 2010 - 2011 (15UBantam)
Practices will run Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6pm - 7:30pm for Bantams, and 7:30pm - 9pm for Midgets. Indoor training will take place at Elevate Sports Performance Batting Cages on Tuesdays, and Georgia Park Elementary School Gym on Thursdays.
Training
Players will get 8 weeks of instruction and training including hitting, fielding, throwing and position specific training, all indoors at Elevate Fitness Baseball Training center and Georgia Park Elementary school gymnasium. Winter Ball is considered the beginning of tryouts for the North Island Cubs 15U and 18U single season teams for 2025.
Equipment
All players should have their own batting helmet, glove(s), bats and clean running shoes. Water bottles are also recommended. 15U will be using wood, aluminum or composite bats, while 18U will use wood or wood composite bats. Catchers should have their own catching equipment.
Fees
